Can Active Handling feature be completely disabled?

Can Active Handling feature be completely disabled?

My 2005 coupe has Active Handling, and I 100% do not ever want it. There is a button to turn it off; but whenever the car starts, it's automatically on, so I would have to press that button every time I drive the car. Is there a way to turn it off so that it doesn't turn back on when the car is started?

Unplug the steering wheel position sensor under the wheel. That leaves abs and tc so still have to press tc off.

I have it done. I do it because I run 315/30/18 square. It would be nice to not push the button and to not have the dash light because the sensor is unplugged, but its part of my startup process. Start car, verify nuetral, plug phone in and put it in cup holder, turn off TC, harness/belts, and we're off.

The lg trackbox does what you want. I can’t say for sure if it works with 05’s.
