Default 2005 Ls2 c6 oil consumption

Hello Guys,
I have a 2005 C6 with 40000 miles on it and i have a problem. My Oli consumption is pretty high. Around 600 miles i need to add around 1 Quart of oil. I use the mobil 1 5w50. I have to say i drive it very hard. When the Engine is warm (176 *F) i floor it all the time. I Drive it on twisty Mountain roads an also on the german Autobahn with maximum speed. Is this high Oli consumption normal, if you drive it that hard?

i don’t want to change the Piston Rings, if that‘s the case, i would rather add 1 Quart every 600 miles. Maybe Valve Guide Seals could be the Problem too. I also read, that the PCV in the left valve-cover can be the Problem. I think this would be the easiest and cheapest way to fix the Problem and should be done first. If the PCV is bad, there should be oil in the intake, if i‘m right.
What do you think? Sorry if my english is not 100% correct.

i have ls3 45k miles on it, motor have no oil leak except for several valves seal. oil 5-30 (should change to 5-50 or 10-60). its used for drag racing, roll racing, burnouts, drifting. vette never goes calm, always hit redline. and oil level at max mark until oil burns. when oil overheated (248°f) oil starts fly away very fast, its moment for change oil. Maybe your oil just burned? take a look to oil at your deep stick. oil should be clear and light color. if it brown or darker - time to new oil

First one - I would recommend you check exhaust smell and color. Cold start, 3k rpm, 5k rpm. Blue smoke comes?
Second - check cylinder bore by endoscopy. You see what happened in combustion chamber. Burns oil in cylinder or not.

I change my oil (5w50) every year after the Season (i only Drive in Summer) and/or every 4000 miles. Old oil is not the Problem i think. Sometimes on the Autobahn and on the Track the oil temp goes up to 250-257 *F. But when it comes to this level i slow down a little and let it cool down. I didn‘t notice smoke at all, but it‘s hard to Tell from inside. Yesterday my Brother drove behind me and he didn’t See smoke too. Head gasked should be ok too, there is No water in oil and/or oil und water. Maybe i should pull the spark plugs and see how they look.

Yes it‘s a eu-Model it comes with z51 and all additional coolers. I use 5w50 mobil 1. When the Season is over i can pull the plugs, i only drive the vette on sunny weekends.
