Convertible top does not clisey

Convertible top does not close

Hi All,

I have a 2013 427 with a power convertible top that just stopped closing at the middle of the process. It will go back to open. Any ideas how to fix this?

Try Synching with your windows. Pull both window switches up with the engine ON and hold for 3 seconds. Do that 3 times in a row, then try the top.

Didn’t work for me

Hi 78pacer, thanks for the tip but after trying this twice it still stops halfway up. Any other ideas?

Had the same problem with mine. Convertibles Unlimited in Deland Florida ordered me a new PULL DOWN MOTOR
Will let you know

Yes. Mine did the same thing. I replaced the switch in the trunk that tells the system that the trunk compartment can fit the top. It's the panel that you pull down to fit more stuff in the trunk. It's on the right hand side.

If your top goes down and the tonneau cover closes completely (with an audible CLICK) then it is NOT the pull down motor.
The pull down motor just lock the tonneau cover down tight.

Try reindexing the windows again
1. Close the door.
2. Raise both windows by pulling up the switch.
3. Then Hold the up switch for three seconds after both
windows are closed. Release the switch.
4. Hold the up switch again for three seconds
and release.

Do this several times just for good measure.
