Hi, I have a 2006 corvette coupe with a bad bcm that I have to swap it out. I recently found one up for sale however it is for a convertible instead of a coupe but all other features match mine. Was wondering if it matters whether swapping the convertible's bcm would work? Thanks in advance.

Compare the part numbers. If the same, no problem.
Will still need to be SPS flashed, so it learns the security code number for that vin number, and can comnicate with the rest of the modules locked to same secuirty code number.
As for one SPS flashed to vin, then use tech II to go into BCM set up, to make sure that is selected in the RPO list, matches what is on the car. Hence car may have come without hud, added later and since BCM is being flash to vin of how it came from the factory, would need to select HUD in the BCM set up RPO list in the end for hud to work.
