Wrong CAI on my Z06?

Default Wrong CAI on my Z06?
I'm thinking my Z06 came with the wrong CAI installed (see pics). I think the actual connector is too short? As you can see (sorta) the filter is rubbing the hood pad completely through. Pretty sure that's not normal.

Looks like they may have slid the filter up too far on the intake tube.I have the same intake but have no rubbing.
