depends on the offset, ride height, alignment and the tire itself.
I have 20x11 rears with a 70 offset with 305 30 20 nitto G2s and the rub ever so slightly but the rear is lowered a bit and I think with a slight camber adjustment they wouldn't rub at all. The G2s are a square shape tire so more prone to rubbing, you may be able to fit 315s running a different style tire and proper alignment. The different between a 315 and a 305 is approx 1/4" and a tad taller,
Hi Folks,
Is anyone running Apex EC-7 wheels on a base C6?
I’m considering the 18x10 fronts with 275/35/ZR18
and
19x11 rears with either 305/30/ZR19 or 315/30/ZR19
Curious about experiences with either of these, and whether or not the 315s will fit and cause any rubbing or sensor issues.
Thanks all.
I can’t see that rear size fitting with out poking!
the fronts seem like a good size to me and I’m debating of trying that size next on my base C6. Right now I do have 18x11 with 295/30 all around for my track set up and everything Is almost flush but the fronts do poke a bit with the 295’s.
On my 08 base, I run 275s & 325s on my EC-7 wheels. Rears scrub a little inside and out, w/weight in trunk. Just follow APEX's recommendations, they know what fits right.

Apex is telling me that I can go with the 315s and may or may not need to adjust camber by -1. I believe them, just wanted to know what others have done. Wondering if your slight scrub would be gone on the 315s.
I have the EC7 on my base 18x10 19x11 using 275/35 and 295/35 tyres. I used Falkens and have to say I'm very impressed, they were half the price of Michelins which I would have chosen previously. My car is 400whp 6 speed and is driven in all weathers.
Apex were very good customer service especially shipping to the UK. I used a 1/4" spacer on the rear to clear the Z06 caliper but the 18x10 would have cleared it. Quality of the wheels is excellent, they've been on for 18 months now and seen salty winter roads, washed every couple of weeks and still look new.
I had that size and wheel on my C6 before i went widebody. Here's some key things I enjoyed 1: they fit perfectly flush and allow a nice wide tire up front and out back. you should have no problem with a 315 on the rear, but Id likely advice a 305 as that's more correct for an 11" wide wheel 2: I had a Wilwood big brake conversion and these allowed me to run them with a "narrow body fitment" up front. This was the original reason i bought the wheels, factory narrow body sizes wouldn't support the Wilwoods

Are you lowered or at stock ride height? I'm thinking of going 325/275 on my ec-7 wheels since that seems to be right on the desired ratio with most tires to keep the tc in check. I'm also a little concerned about the smaller diameter 305s breaking loose easier and negating the traction gains of the wider tire.
