Default Help identify a plug

Hi all,

I recently picked up a 2011 Grand Sport from a fellow forum member. It has a procharger and is an absolute animal.

I just noticed a plug dangling in the front and I was wondering if anyone could identify it before I go crawling under to trace it. I was thinking maybe 02 sensor plug but not entirely sure.

Under hood light connector, that the hood light was discontinued on the later C6 vets, but since connector remained as part of the wiring harness over all, GM just added a cap onto the connector to make it water tight.not cause problems down the line with it not in use.

When super charger was installed (shroud may have been pulled as well), it was pulled loose from it push in point in the fan shroud passenger side, and just need to push the capped connector back into it factory stay point.

So follow the HVAC line that goes forward to passenger side of the radiator front, see the large Silver coupling that is on the front of the fan shroud, and right under it, will see the hole for the connector attachment part to be pushed in and locked back into stay hole.

In my photo, the connector is the one with the green rubber parts as it cap, but yours connector cap may have black at these rubber parts isntead. And yes cap shape, is the dead give away of what the connector is in the first place.

Thank you so much! I honestly am beyond grateful to be once again a part of this fantastic forum.

I will put the car on ramps and hook it back up. I knew it was a factory plug because of that white tab on it.

Thanks again!
