At a loss. Ive reviewed every thread i can find on here, reddit, and Google. 2013 base. Getting the "Engine too hot, turning off AC" message with temp gauge at 0.
I bumped the connector when checking #1 spark plug and wire. When I went to push it back on the clip broke. Got a new connector but still getting same message. Swapped wires and disconnect battery each time. Still getting same message. I'm stumped. Thanks
Start the car and turn the AC on if you can…what DTC do you see ??…P0117 ??…I’d also remove the connector and with the ignition in run make sure you see 5 volts on one of the 2 wires…yellow wire should have the 5 volts…it is the signal wire…the other wire is a low reference or computer ground…you can check that by connecting a 12 volt test light to B+…the low reference terminal should illuminate when probing that wire…hope you soldered the new connection if using a new pigtail.

I don't have a code reader but can check the rest. Haven't soldered anything until I determine its correct. AC would turn off. Fan was on. Thank you
