Engine would not turn over
I stopped for gas and wnen i got back into my C6 it would not turnover. The batter seemed dead. Even the windows would not go down. I tried jump starting it and while connect to the jump start the widows and other electrical functions worked but it still would not turn over. I purchased a new battery but after installing it I encountered the same problem. Everything seemed to be working but when I hit the start button it didn't turn over and the dash light would go out for a few seconds then come back on. I tried starting it repeatedly over the course of about 15 minutes and on the 6th try it started like nothing had been wrong. Has anyone experienced this?

Sounds like the battery to starter connection point. Its also the common connection for the alternator. Possible it gave up the ghost on your drive, causing it to not charge the car (hence the dead battery) and that it was still giving you issues after the attempted jump.
