Not to mention the extra heat will greatly wear out all rubber and plastic components in your engine bay, which increases the chance of electrical issues among other things.
you act like this is the first car I have had with headers. Lol.
its fine if your headers have enough clearance. If they don’t, buy better headers.

On a base engine the gains are not that significant. It's on modified engines that the headers really shine!

the gains are the gains, regardless of other mods.

Headers are said to be the best bang for the buck on an LS motor followed by a cam, simply because the cam costs more in labor

Not true there are more gains to be had from headers on a modified engine than a stock engine.

hahahaah, how so? Who do you know that has a highly modified engine that did not already include a staple mod like header that you can confirm this?
Unless there is some SERIOUS restriction in a super high flowing setup, I’m not buying it.

Said another way since you don't understand what I'm saying: Headers will complement a modified engine more than a stock engine. In other words, you will get larger Tq. and Hp. gains by adding headers to a modified engine than if you were to add headers to a stock engine.

I fully understand you, I just don’t agree with you.
I mean unless you are running stock manifolds on a 1khp car and likely rediculously corking it down, but who does that? Headers are a staple. People don’t just build big cubes and high compression and boost builds without doing staple mods first or at the time of the build.
So personally, I am assuming that you are assuming data vs actually knowing this from first hand knowledge.
i am sure Rich Holdener has a series on this on YouTube though if you would like to prove a point with someone else’s work and documentation
