service engine soon on dic
on first start this message is displayed will reset, but each time car is started thmessagee is display. has anyone ever found out why this message comes up? I have read alot about possible causes but none seem to solve the issue. car runs fine its so annoying and i find no real cause. alway thought it being a voltage thing but had a charger on it when starting and still got message. Any help??

Ditto on scanning for codes, but in the mean time toggle the DIC to oil life percentage, since may be that the last time the oil was changed if less then 1 year or 12K miles, percentage was not reset, and warning you that it thinks it time for an oil change.
