Default 500whp-600whp

Whats the best way to make 500 whp and 600whp reliably and what could the ls3 handle bottom end and top end stock? What's the most reliable years and how many miles realistically could it handle?

Supercharger. LS3 can handle a lot. Several people running 800+.whp with supercharged setups with no problems. And the limitation is really in the stock rods and pistons.

With TSP Stage 2 cam, PHADT headers, full 3" exhaust with custom muffler and tune, my LS3 managed 495HP/453TQ on the DYNO...

If your wanting much over 500... I would suggest boost. An LS3 making 500NA is pretty rowdy.

Base SC kit from ECS or A and A, mid 500+ easy and drives like stock.
Doing it N/A will make it snotty but VERY cool. All depends what you're willing to put up with.

If you're paying for install and tune/calibration, it depends on where you live honestly. Find an LS performance shop nearby, and see what they recommend or are most comfortable with.

If doing all the work yourself, then pickup either one of A&A or ECS basic SC set-ups and start tinkering.
