Default Magnetic Ride Control

Hi everybody,

Does anyone could explain me how this switch can be used properly ?
I have this switch with "selective ride" inscription, it seems to be different from others of 2006-2009 Corvette.

I did not find any details about it on the owner manual.
Thanks for your help

I thought that was a ZR1 option but if it operates the same you have different traction levels for different race tracks

Looks like someone changed the switch, that was on the 2010 and newer ZR1 not the Z06

I have this switch on my 2009 base with F55 option. It switches between Tour (softer ride) and Sport (Harder, sportier ride)

If mrc shocks still in play, and system was not turned off in BCM, and convental shocks now in play.

Short course, open the hood, look at top of front shocks, and see if shocks have the connector wires on the top of them.

If yes, then dial set to tour will be softer ride, while dial set to sport will be firmer ride.
And on base models, hard to tell the difference in the OEM settings, unless you driver over RR crossing with speed, to feel the difference of the two settings. Hence F55 system did not get decent in regards to better handling, until they started to couple it with firmer Fe3+ and up other components.

Not tuning the shocks, but changing/reflashing the F55 firmware for sport mode with new firmware, that make the car handle better.

the fe2 shocks are just normal so you can find cheap replacements online. the f55 shocks are $1200 each at the dealer. But honestly coilovers ride better and handle better so it's my recommendation for sure. I went with Silvers and love them
