Default A/C condenser replacement

So I have a hole in my A/C condenser. There are quite a few price level options with A/C Delco replacement seems to be at the top. Any one use another brand successfully?
Also, typically you should replace the drier when you open an a/c system. Is there a separate drier in this system that should be changed out.

it looks like the condenser just lifts out the top when you take the top cover off and remove the two lines. Is that the case or am I in for a fight here?

Thanks

If the hole was from an internal failure watch the video…EVERYTHING in the AC system should be replaced…choice is yours !!

Nope. Hole was from my screw up. Was removing old rivets left behind in the shroud from a previous owner removing a CAI. The drill bit pulled in unexpectedly and nicked the condenser.

So, Rock Auto has the AC Delco for $232, and a UAC brand for $67. Both include the drier and both are popular choices on RA. They look identical except the UAC is painted (coated?). They are probably made in the same factory…
Other than name recognition, any reason why I shouldn’t use the UAC?
painted black is actually better for heat rejection, BTW.

I got the UAC. It looks black on the pic but it comes in aluminum color. Just like stock. Fitment is good. Replace the O-rings on the top bottom hoses.

I ordered the UAC from Rock Auto. It did come in black paint.
I think this condenser has at least one other application, might have been a Cadillac something? It might be spec'd as black for that application because it can be seen thru the grille? I dunno. Just speculating.
