I have the rear hub off of my 07. ready to buy a new one. My question is where to get a good new hub. would not want to have to replace it again any time soon.
Have any of you been through this and had better luck with one hub manufacture over another.
Your input would be most appreciated.
Thanks Ellis.

I bought new standard SKF hubs that all failed in less than 2,000 street miles. And I mean failed, as in ~1/8" axial runout. I have read many similar complaints, suggesting that at the very least SKF has a severe QC problem. SKF refunded me for all four failed hubs.
I can't speak directly about other aftermarket brands' Corvette hubs except to say that many of the old names in suspension have been outsourcing manufacture recently so the Moog or Timkin part you bought 5 years ago is probably not the same today.
Lots of road racers swear by SKF HD / SKF X-Tracker hubs. That's what I have on my car now. These hubs are totally different than their blue-box street replacement hubs.
They're about $400 each. They are only sold through a handful of vendors. An '07 would use SKF HDs.
As already mentioned above, most of the once great brands are not great anymore.
I've personally had good luck with Detroit Axle.
My view, I can pay a lot more for the big brands and roll the dice. Or I can pay a fraction of that price and roll the dice.

Same exact early failure issue with Timken so there you go. < 2k miles and 1 year. Was so bad that they could not align until replaced.
