Default CALIDs and CVN info

Hi. I have a 2007 Corvette C6Z06 that is new to me: It has an E38 ecu with service Number 12597121. I am trying to establish if the car has stock code on its ecu. This seems unlikely as in its past it has had new after market heads and was apparently 'tuned' for that...

I downloaded the CALID / CVN info on this car from 'tis2web' and then used HP Tuners to pull the tune file from the car - and they are quite different. I have a few questions.

1. Does tis2web represent a definitive list of the CALIDs that would have been on the car when it left the factory?

2. why does the car not have the latest possible CALID for a specific segment - for example it has 12611833 for [Main Operating System] as opposed to the later 12614676

3. For Fuel System , Speedometer, Engine Diagnostics and Engine Operation the CALIDs do not match the CVNs as outlined in tis2web. This car is in California, and I recently passed a standard smog certification here. My understanding was that the smong test machine automatically checked to see if they do match. I'd assumed that this car would fail a smog test but it didnt. Is this because I just dont understand how the smog check system really works?

IDK 1 but for 2 HP tuners has developed their own patches after the factory stopped making the ecu. Yes to the tune being changed for aftermarket parts. HP tuners has a tune repository that might have the same year stock tune.

Also I couldn't see your text at all like it was the same grey color as the background page color, I had to highlight text.

1. Yes - but it will also have updates after the factory calibration was released as you've seen
2. Because it was never re-programmed after it left the factory. If a calibration update comes out some time later, it would not get flashed to the vehicle unless there was a very good reason to do so. You should have a general description of any software updates from tis2web to confirm it is not a significant or required update.
