I have been thinking about relocating my flex fuel, so that it is not directly above the headers. Does anyone have any suggestions or pictures to share? Thank you.
It's tougher than it looks! I didn't find a good combo of fittings where you have the fuel lines now. DSX fuel line works well but does look odd. This is what I have now and it's working well though I might shorten the hose by the throttle body or make braided line.
I don't have any pictures of it anymore but on my cousins 08 I mounted it in a motion raceworks bracket on the inner fender (it escapes me at the moment exactly where because this has been over 5 years ago now). Granted we had aftermarket rails and everything was plumed in -8ptfe. We had a lot going on though because we also had breakouts feeding the nitrous fuel solenoid. Being that you already have aftermarket rails it should be pretty easy. Just how much do you wanna spend and how clean you want it to look. Here's the bracket we used.
