Need help sourcing drivetrain components
Ok guys, I need some knowledge. I just recently walked into a hell of a deal on a lightly used RPM built T56 out of an 05 base car (I want to say he told me its a 30 spline? does that sound right?). I think the time has finally come to manual swap my GS. I know I'll need an 05-07 Manual Torque tube, I already have a pedal box and a shifter. My question I'm getting hung up on is the rear diff/subframe situation. I know Ill need a 3.42 setup but the question is which one? Will I need a different rear subframe? I think I read somewhere a lot of folks also use c5 rear diffs and subframes as well. Just want to make sure I'm on the right track.
Also from an electronics standpoint what all needs to be swapped (aside from the obvious in the tune). I imagine there's some different sensors and what not. Any BCM modifications needed?
