2013 Base Vert. Rockauto shows two different AC Delco part #s for the engine air filter and the prices are about $50 different.
They list A3077C for $61.79 and A3107C for $111.89
They also have a Wix for $59.89
Which one and why?
I Am leaning twords the Wix or the less expensive AC Delco. If I'm going to pay $100 for a throw away air filter I'll buy 2 of the Wix.
Rock auto is not the best for listing parts that actually fit,
Do your research and co firm part numbers. The cheaper AC one might be deprecated part number

GM lists the A3107C at $155 plus shipping making Rockauto much cheaper for that number but what is the difference? The $60 wix looks identical I try to only use the best parts but I have a hard time believing a $160 paper air filter is twice as good as a $60 one.
Tend to go with the Wix/Napa gold air filters (they are the same), not that they are any better than the oem GM filter,
but that they are lighter in color, while oems are dark, and easy to see when a ligher color filter is dirty and needs to be replaced, over a dark filter instead.
As with cabin filter, and do get the charcol one, and again Wix and napa gold filters are one and the same.

Appreciate the feedback. I replaced the cabin a month ago with a Wix since it had.the OEM still and was NASTY. Interesting the chose to put it under the hood but I've seen other OEMs do that (Looking at you Mustang) but it is real easy to change at least.
I installed a new WIX air filter in my 2012 Grand Sport a week after it was delivered to me almost three years ago. When it's time i will replace it with another new WIX filter.

I never said they weren’t cheaper. I said don’t trust their fitment for years and trims. They just cost me money by trusting their listings
If anyone pays $160 for an air filter, I have some prime land to sell them on Mars. Send em my way

That is strange. Just go with the cheaper one. For reference RockAuto does not list the A3107C for my '09 Base but does list the A3077C. I don't see any reason to use the more expensive filter. The A3077C is also spec'd for the ZR1 so it should flow more than enough for any base model

Doesnt the zr1 have a different airbox assembly than a base?
