Default C6 Grand Sport

Hi everyone,

My first post here. This is my Salvaged 2011 Grand Sport. has almost 140k miles. Car was wrecked by first owner and bought back from dealer and resold as salvaged and drove another 60K miles before I got it. My plan continues to be enjoy the crap out of this car and have good old reasonably safe fun with it.

Mods list
KNS blank rotors
XP8 brake pads
German high temp brake fluid
external trans cooler with fan and ducted behind passenger fog light
Toyo RRR 8 tires

I change the engine oil every track session which are few and far between so that works for me and I replaced the transmission fluid with a mechanic friend who is way beyond awesome. I believe I can do this car is up I have made the repair already and see the mistake...easy enough fix so now that its likely empty ...What would my fill procedure be for a car that has lost most of its oil.? My friend is swamped with work so I am not going to bother him..

Cheers!

This is me driving at Sonoma Raceway

Personally, I'd bite the bullet and step up to Girodisc rotors, at least for the front. I cracked a KNS rotor a couple of summers ago. Never had a rotor crack in ~20 years until then. The Girodisc are clearly a superior rotor design, IMO. Also, you may want to consider XP10 or 12 compound vs. XP8, unless you already have experience with the 8's and are happy with them? Our cars are heavy, so they can use as much braking power as you can give them.

When asking about the fill procedure for oil, are you talking about the engine or transmission?? (you were talking about both before posing your question)

Enjoy the car. They're absolute beasts on the track .
