Checking on my catch can and PCV routing
I am trying to get this 2006 Z06 running correctly for a family member. I have never worked on a dry sump car before and I don't think the way pcv is set up is correct. This is a supposedly 1100rwhp build with an A&A YSI. It has two vented catch cans going to the rear of each valve cover.
In the first picture the breather is hooked up to the air filter in the second pic
The middle hose is connected to the valley cover
The bottom hose is connected to the air bridge (between the air filter and the supercharger)
This is natural aspirated Dry sump picture I can find

There is a restrictor in one of the valve covers (right side probably (driver)) from the factory sometimes
The valley looks to provide intake manifold idle/cruise suction
See where it says 'Dirty Side PCV system' That spot between the intake manifold and crankcase requires a PCV Check valve suitable for forced induction to be added, otherwise boost will fill the crankcase.
The front most of the engine intake (the bottom of the picture) Is showing where the air filter goes, that is the air filter tube on the supercharger, see how the air filter tube in your pictures has those line or lines, I cant tell whats going onwith those lines but there is definetely a line on the air filter tube, that has to go back to the crankcase through what looks to be the oil dry sump reservoir.
Here is the same system at Wide open throttle now

In forced induction, A PCV valve (you add) blocks the 'dirty side pcv' if correctly added there, preventing boost from entering the crankcase.
blow-by will only flow from the valve cover (remember one is probably restricted) towards the air filter, as all OEM engines would.
This will only work if the air filter produces enough pressure drop to pull the blow-by out of the engine. It should be measured and set to 0.5" to 2.5"Hg of vacuum at wot to get the most oil control out of the pcv system.

Another requirement is pressure testing. You must pressure test the check valve action of the pcv valve you select. There are many pcv valves unsuitable for forced induction.
This is how you correctly pressure test forced induction systems.
Boost leaks cost power in supercharger apps. In turbo apps it also leads to engine failure.
