Help with stranded LS 7

Man I just now read this post and with an LS7 the first thing I would have checked is the plugs and scoped the cylinders and then pull the valve covers to look at the valve train components just due to ls7’s having a history to drop a valve. I think the dealer just got lazy or they just did not turn on their brains to think that day. This is 1 of the reasons why I have issues with mechanic shops and do all my own work.
