Default Active Handling Light

Hey all. There is probably a long thread on about this problem so if someone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Recently purchased 2011 GS with 30k. Have noticed when I have active handling on, all is fine. However , when I switch to active handling off or competitive driving, the service light for the active handling system will come on in the drivers screen. Can anyone tell me where to begin?

The amber fishtailing corvette symbol means that traction control is disabled. If you manually switch off traction control, that light will come on.

As long as you're not seeing an actual service message in the DIC (such as "SERVICE ACTIVE HANDLING") and the amber ABS light is not illuminated, your car is behaving normally.

Pull the codes. You'll need a scan tool that can talk to the ABS computer (the "EBCM"). Those codes will be invisible to low-end scan tools.
