Default Electronic Clicking in Dash
2010 GS. When I get in the car with the key in my pocket, I hear a series of clicks, sometimes more than once, before I even start the car. Is it just sensing the key?

That is the RCDLR which is part of the immobilizer system…trouble if you don’t hear it…is the car new to you ??

Yes, and it only has 3,200 original miles. I just wanted to make sure it’s supposed to do that. Thank you 👍🏻

I hear this clicking as well on a new to me 2005 with 77k miles. It's loud enough that I am thinking something is about to fail since the car is old. Really surprised if this is normal.
