2005 Supercharged C6 Stalling
I am looking into buying a 2005 C6 that has recently had an Edelbrock supercharger put in. I was told since having it put in, the car stalls out spontaneously for no reason with no engine light and no codes coming up when scanned. The current owner has taken it to numerous shops and garages to figure out the problem and after 2 years nobody can seem to figure out what the issue is. It could be months without a stall and then it could be once a week. Each time needing a tow truck. Any ideas if this would be a major problem or why nobody including the company that installed the supercharger can fix this issue?

They can’t fix it because they are mechanics and not diagnosticians…also an intermittent issue can be challenging even for the most skilled diagnostician…using a labscope and maybe looking at the crankshaft position sensor may be something I’d look at…watch the video…C6 that stalls but more often…you can see why a labscope is required and not a job for a mechanic or even a “Corvette Specialist” !!
