Got the dreaded c6 no start issue on my 2010 A6. Starter tested bad so I replaced it and the battery as it was 4 years oldbut the problem still persisted. I have just figured out the car starts perfectly every time if instead of pushing the green circle to start I push the left hand corner button which shuts off the engine normally. Anyone ever ran into this? I’m hoping it’s just the ignition switch itself that is bad
With the ignition switch out and disconnected you should have continuity with an ohm meter between pins E and F when the start button is pushed….moving this to Tech…when pressing the bottom of the switch you should see 2K ohms (2000 ohms).
