Default Air Bag Light

I noticed that the air bag light flashing last night for the first time.
The strange thing is that it will go on for a while then go off ( as normal ) for a period of time.
The owners manual indicates it is an electrical issue.
I was thinking that maybe it is the connector under the seat or at least it is a place to start.
Which connector under the seat is for the air bag?
Also, any other suggestions for how to troubleshoot.
2010 A6 Grand Sport. Completely stock

There is a “campaign” vs a recall for the airbag light which is in part below…I believe you could have been reimbursed for this issue but it is beyond the 10 year limit…if this is a wiring issue I HIGHLY suggest you either let an auto electric shop or a dealership do the repair…not a DIY repair since it is the airbag circuit !!

Thank you for this information. I went for a ride today and the icon did not light up.
I recently had the drivers seat out so I will double check the connector.
The pic is blurry but I guessing it is the yellow connector, correct

My c6z would occasionally flash it. I read it was from connector rubbing while seat was moving. I think I lifted the seat up some and it quit occurring

Definitely the seat connector. There is a way to zip tie it but I remove the connector on mine and soldered/heat shrinked the wires. I may get a replacement clip so I can remove the seat if need by but I don’t plan to take the seat out for a few years.

Default Is fix needed on Driver's and Passenger seat??

I cleaned contacts and zip tied the connectors on the driver's seat a couple years ago and it resolved the issue.
I recently had a passenger and had the airbag light again.
Does the passenger seat have a connector that is coming loose and need the zip tie?
Thanks
