2005 C6 transmission, 6th gear
Maybe, hence just check the shifter detent bolt on the shifter to see if someone did an anti venom mode by adding a brass washer to it, and if found and running stock shifter, then remove it so detent is back to normal tension.
Take a read through theses, since may have had after market shifter, was pulled to put oem back in ,and either did not use loctite on coupler bolt with correct torque to hold it in place (may need to replace the box grommets if falling apart and box moving on TT), or did the reduced detent tension mod of the trans detent for after market shifter, and the brass shim needs to be removed now with oem shifter back in the car.
