So i'm planning on doing a 402ci kit for my ls2 with the boost district lsa blower kit, I wanna use BTR’s PDS stage 4 Cam(229/25X, .636"/.636", 116 LSA) kit but i'm stuck when it comes to choosing the heads.
I could do something like PRC 247cc heads and use the cathedral to square port adapter the kit comes with, but id prefer to use square port heads but i don’t know much about square port heads n whats good. Looked at just ported ls3 heads but wanted to know if theres a better option for this kind of setup. Not too worried about price, I just want everything to work together properly.
PS. I do plan on sending the blower to kong and doing their x port or maybe doing their 2650 later down the line, and would prefer to not have to swap out the heads again later on.
Depends on what power level you want, I guess.
I'm on a stock LS2, stock intake, cam etc with a super charger and meth making 690hp. That's sufficient for now with this rear end and tire combo.
According to Eric Weingartner AFR ls 3 mongoose are the best flowing LS 3 heads out there.

I'm using LS3 Mongoose on my 6.0 with 227/ 236 114 cam. probably a bit too much head for my application but I think it would be ideal for you. I race with a guy that has the the Frankenstein heads & they are IMPRESSIVE
I would definitely not stay cathedral at all, if you're upgrading heads then you might as well to rectangular port. i would suggest the smeding performance 273 heads, I've go those in my 408 and they looked amazing
