Guess that noise
Auto trans, LS3. 20K miles. The noise can’t really be picked up on video, but sounds like it’s coming from the rear of the engine. It’s very hushed, sounds like a faint steam engine, or sewing machine. It’s faster with revs. Does not go away in neutral. Can’t really tell if there is a vibration because I have a Red Hot cam in it. My first thought was torque tube but I really don’t know what that sounds like. A second guess was the tinny sound of headers. Can’t recall when I first noticed it because it’s so faint…one day I just noticed it.
