C6 LS2, just finished my cam swap. Turned the car on, runs fine, but NO COOLANT GUAGE (pegged at the bottom). DIC message saying ENGINE HOT a/c off. Go into HP tuners, ECT is at 302deg!!! ---> My judgment says this is a connector problem
- some important notes: the ect sensor was replaced, I broke the plastic female connector on the sensor.
Now im trying to find the right connector to swap out, is the correct ect connector the 3 pin or 2 pin connector? I damaged the connector too when I bonked the sensor so i'm not sure.
- these are my two options, anyone able to confirm the correct one?

The ECT sensor (thermistor) are always a 2 wire connector with a 5 volt signal and a low reference ground which goes the ECM…were you seeing any trouble code ??…if you short the ECT wires together the ECT will max out…when you disconnect the sensor connector the ECT will read -40 on your scan tool…with the sensor itself having 2 pins why are you looking at a 3 pin connector ??

I fully smashed the sensor and connector and couldn’t really see what the connector setup looked like previously.
