I replaced the front left wheel bearing when I bought the car. Now 3 years later and only 7k miles, it has failed again. I used a Timken as I thought they were good bearings.
Could something else be causing the bearing failure? I don’t have alignment issues that I know about.
What is a good bearing?
Did I just get a bad bearing? I know it happens, but it sucks when it happens to you.
I moved away from Timken a few years ago due to folks coming back with issues, (I run a small shop from home on the side). They only have a 12 month warranty while others like SKF and Mevotech have 5 years 60k.
Acdelco is two years unlimited miles. Timken has the same warranty as $40 ones at Rock Auto.
