Front air dam

Is it ok to remove the two outer pieces of the front lower air dam leaving the middle section in place, as it appears that the middle section is what does the job of guiding air to the rads?
The outer sections are the ones scraping on my drive as i have to come off at an angle so would love to remove them. It would make it easier for car ramps too 🤔

You wouldn’t be the first person to remove them. While they are there for a reason, it’s not like your car is going to overheat without them or parts of them.

As i understand it the 2 outside sections are only for directing air to the brake ducts. Unnecessary in regular driving.
