Default Brake line removal

Folks I was having some new brake pads put on and tried to do braided steel lines at the same time. The mechanic could not get my old lines off. He said the bolts for removal were seized. PB blaster didn’t work. Any tips for removal would be greatly appreciated.

If it is the rear they were probably put on too tight in the car assembly. I ran into this on mine and need to get a new steel brake line of the passenger rear steel line I think it was. I got it off but the new line would never seal so I had to replace the steel line too. This problem has been mentioned on this site a few times.

@double06 thanks for the quick reply. Would you happen to have a part number or pic? I’m assuming this is an issue for all four corners

I do not have a picture or part number it was over 15 years ago. It was only the rear passenger side rear line (goes from the rear to the brake hose fitting). If you do get it loose double check to see if it seals - mine did not. When I compared the lines, I could see the old one had ballooned in the seal area.
