There is no permanent fix. Just need to apply some silicone oil or grease to all of the rubber seals of the top and also of the doors. And this creaking is not exclusive to Corvettes. Lots of cars have this problem.
I use silicon oil instead of grease as it is a lot less messy:
I just stopped the noise by putting dielectric grease on the pins and the rollers and the surface of the metal the rollers roll on. I'm sure it will have to be done again at some time.

This is exactly what I did. Worked like a champ. I re grease every time I remove the targa. It literally takes a minute.
