I am working on a "Push To Pass" setup for my C6.
I have a Vortech V3 that was upgraded to Ti with aftermarket parts. Billet impeller, high speed bearings, etc.
I plumbed a Hallman boost controller into the boost reference line between the intake and the blow off valve. It is set to open at 9.5 PSI which gives me 750 WHP. The boost stays at 9.5 PSI even though the engine RPM continues to increase.
I did this to allow me to learn to control (Or at least try to control LOL) wheel spin and to avoid going into the nearly vertical portion of the logarythmic boost curve of a CSC.
I would now like to be able to play in the steep end but in a limited and (somewhat) controllable manner. I am going to install a MAC 3 port boost controller on the outlet of the Hallman.
The MAC will be actuated with a pushbutton momentary switch attached to the steering wheel so I can block off the bleed of the boost reference which will close the blow off valve and allow all of the boost to be pushed into the engine.

After the initial spool centrifugal blowers have a pretty linear boost vs RPM relationship, and it certainly doesn't go nearly vertical anywhere.

It seems you are correct. I expected it to spool like a turbo since they have the same scroll.
After doing some Googling, it looks like the limiter I have works like a wastegate for a turbo.
The HP on mine continues to climb after hitting 9.5 lbs of boost so there is more go there.

Lost here, since ECM has torque management, and you can let the engine make all the power in the world, and use TM to set what can instantly go to the wheels, to prevent wheel spin as well. Also, unless you turn off TC, then it should be clipping to keep tires in control as well.
And TM is only instant power hobbling, TC will only stop the wheels from spinning, but come top end runs, all the power that the motor has in the end, can still ramp up to give you full power max speeds at the end.
So real question, is how well is the motor built/how much boost can you throw at it before it breaks something in it or blows apart, what is going to matter in the end.
And keep in mind, if your talking a hit or two on street or dyno, or trying to do hit after hit on a road course track for over 45 mins when stock engine is over about 650hp and no meth kit to help cool it back down, complete different worlds when it comes to longevity of the motor and the heat that is going to see. Stock LS3 on centrifugal super charger not hard to crank it up to do 750+HP for short bursts, but you put that on road course track, be very lucking to make it 45 mins of hit after hit and motor not come apart half way through from the heat soak.
