Hello people, hope evryone is having a nice day. Well, I'm having an issue and hopefully you guys can help me out. I bought a copart c6 corvette 2006 ls2 that was missing the air intake and the MAF harness, I've already bought the OEM air intake but I'm having trouble with the MAF harness. I already ordered 2 harnesses from ebay and neither of one fits, so I'm kinda desperate right now to know which is the correct one, the ones that I bought stated ls2 pig tail harness and it doesnt fit. Can someone help me out? Btw, the car runs smoothly with out it, but I hate the check engine light haha
Car will run off MAP sensor if MAF is missing. I think you will get a P0103. However you are also missing the IAT sensor, which is part of the MAF wiring. So WOT fueling will not be right as there is no temp in the calculations.
Just get a matching connector for the sensor you have. Check your VIN, it might have changed from 2005 to 2007 to 2008 across the years. You will probably need the right one that matches the sensor the ECU is set up for.
You can buy a ls3/ls7 style pigtail and run a card style MAF, much more plentiful and is known to be more accurate than the LS2/LS1 MAF. You will have to dramatically re-scale your maf low and maf high tables though, but better in the long run IMO.
