Probably a stupid question but I have never done this before. I am looking to get my door panels on my 2013 grandsport reupholstered. When I remove the door panels to send to the upholstery shop will I still be able to open and close my door as I would normally having the keyfob on my person? Will I have to use the manual release?
Like I said probably stupid question but never did this and can find no information online. I would prefer not to leave my doors open for a week or two lol.
there is a cable in the trunk to open the dvr side door
ah okay I know what you are talking ab out. And then as far as the passenger side once I am in the car I can use the floor release to open it? or is there also a cable for that in the trunk?

no for the pass door there is only the one cable and its on the floor. Might give some thought to proactively replace the electric door latches. There is an online service thats ships better units with more robust solonoids.

Thank you! I will take a look into this as well while I am at it.
