Default C6 Can I close door with door panel removed?

Hey Guys,

Probably a stupid question but I have never done this before. I am looking to get my door panels on my 2013 grandsport reupholstered. When I remove the door panels to send to the upholstery shop will I still be able to open and close my door as I would normally having the keyfob on my person? Will I have to use the manual release?

Like I said probably stupid question but never did this and can find no information online. I would prefer not to leave my doors open for a week or two lol.

no for the pass door there is only the one cable and its on the floor. Might give some thought to proactively replace the electric door latches. There is an online service thats ships better units with more robust solonoids.
