Hey everyone, I got work done awhile back upgrading my Z to a stage 4 n/a. It came with a MightyMouse Solutions catch can, which is the topic of the post...why would they install it in such a way???
The top dry sump out-port is currently connected to the in-port of the catch can. The hose from the catch can out-port goes directly into the Halltech air filter. Additionally, the u-hose from the valley plate to the intake manifold remains in the stock configuration, which does not match MMS installation diagrams. What's going on here? Based
Additionally I have obtained all of MMS flow diagrams as well as install instructions and guidelines for tubing diameter based on Whp....none of it lines up with how I'm set up.
Soooo my question is is this some sorta unorthodox way to make it work or just plain incorrectly set up? I'm in email communication with MMS(👍👍🏆they're very responsive they replied minutes after my email today(Saturday)) to get the correct fittings, correct hoses, and a recirculating cap.

I followed the MMS install diagram…definitely not like yours. I’d ask the shop who did your install what’s up, perhaps there’s a good reason for it to be that way? If not, the suggested install is easy to do.
The only reason I could see doing that is the air bridge was getting oil from the dry sump tank (or at least that is what they thought it was for). Does it still have the little "U" shaped tube from manifold to valley pan. Typically these replace the "U" shaped hose not the way you have it there. Does your can have a blow off valve in it?
