Default hatch actuator
do all corvettes come with that actuator that pulls the hatch closed? I just bought an 08 Z06 and it does work

yea they all do and the all go bad eventually find one on ebay or amazon and replace it

Check out C&S Corvettes, they have an excellent replacement hatch pull down motor.

I believe on the Z06 that was a 2009+ option. My 2008 does not automatically close.

That's crazy at that price point, guessing it was due to weight goal....as m 05 base had the actuator
