SCHRADER 29180 relearn issues
I have an 05 and bought new wheels and based on recommendations on this forum, Shrader 29180's which are supposed to be pre-programmed, just needing to follow the cars relearn procedure to pair.

I just unboxed them and mounted in the wheels and wanted to confirm the would learn by enabling the relearn procedure and zapping them with my EL-50448 tool before tires get mounted. No dice.
I then scan my other set of wheels and they are recognized just fine like they have in the past. Do these schraders need some sort of initialization? Like a battery tab removal to energize them? Do they need to see pressure to work? Do I need to clear out the old TPMS from the car somehow?
