Default Difference in these balancers?

I’m going to be changing my harmonic balancer soon and I’m trying to figure out the difference in these two balancers, are they not the same? Same part number but the pictures look different. One says it’s a Dayco and one says Powerbond, but aren’t they the same company? There’s a big price difference so I’m trying to figure out the difference.

on a side note I’m also considering the Summit balancer if someone can provide me the correct part number

I think PowerBond is just a brand by Dayco.

These are indeed the exact same balancer.

I purchased the dry sump version of this balancer from RockAuto and it too was about $100 cheaper than the next cheapest source. But it is the genuine part.

Hmm, I never noticed that. I was just looking at the part numbers.

Maybe they changed the design?

I just did a quick internet search. Another person in this thread, (https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...this-then.html), also had the same confusion.

Supposedly, PB changed the design but there are still tons of websites that have the old photos.

If I remember correctly, back when I ordered that same exact Powerbond balancer for my C5Z I got it from rock auto and the picture it showed was the one in the picture above but then one I actually recieved was the one in the picture from Summit. They prob just changed the design.
I was thinking about doing with the Summit balancer but seems like I remember reading some posts about ppl having issues with the Summit one.

I think they just changed the designed. I ordered that exact balancer back in like 2019 from rock auto and it showed the pic of the one in the rock auto pic above but the one I recieved was the one in the summit pic. At first I thought they sent me the wrong one.
