TPMS selection for second tire set
My current set works. When I did work on the car for an extended period, they didn't all work at first. I have driven the car and done a few things and they seem to be working properly again. I assume these are the original ones, but I'm not sure of that.
I would like to get a second set for track day tires.
I have the reset tool and that is working with the current set.
Which ones work well? I see them from $40 to $140 for the set. What is the difference?
I know that some turn off and on based on rotation so you don't wear out the battery when the car is sitting. I don't really see that in the descriptions I read, but I could be missing it.
I don't do a lot of events each year, so they would set for extended periods of time.
I plan to change rims for my everyday tires, so it's a good time to decide what is the best way to switch sensors.
Is there a way to tell how much battery life is left in a set?
Which ones do you recommend or recommend staying away from?
