Go with the Lambo. I would never have a Ford. C'mon, you know whose gonna be workin on that GT engine? Joe Schmo mr. mechanic at your local Ford dealer, cuz the engine is basically the same, I believe, as their truck engines. I would hope it would get special treatment, but I wouldn't count on it. I wouldn't put a Diablo in the same league as a GT anyways. Firstly it's like a 100 grand more. But, if you got the money, go with the Lambo. Much more pleasing experience. While you're at it, why not a Saleen S7? Some day I will probably get one of those supercars, but I'm happy with what I got, at the moment. C6 will probably keep me happy also for a while.

Owning a Ford doesn't thrill me (like owning a Dodge most times doesn't thill me) but that GT is SOME car! I'll wait for an 06 though (have to wait a year with the Porsche coming) and I want to wait and see how production year 1 goes. BUT
A Lambo 6.0 Diablo has been a dream since I sat in one 12, 13 years ago. Well, that wasn't a 6.0 but the changes they made to the Diablo with the 6.0 only added to the lust! The major depreciation years are gone on the cars now. I have seen perfect examples, with < 4,000 miles, with an asking price of $159K. That's something when you consider the car sold new for $280,000 only 4,000 miles and 3 years ago! I would prob get a Lambo before anything else, in fact, with this 5 month wait on the Porsche it's getting tempting.... I am paying $126,500 for the Porsche and when you add taxes it's not a whole lot more than a nice 6.0. But I want to own this Porsche so I will wait it out... until April!
The Saleen is super hot but no way is it worth $400,000. I couldn't swing that much anytime soon (without selling my Viper which I will not do) and I wouldn't even pay $200,000 for one. Just doesn't do it for me at that level. I'd take a Diablo first.
Do you have a C6 on order?

Not yet. I do have connections tho. The owner of a dealer near me is my client. I will definitely have on of the first. It will be black. First thing I will do is lower it.

I wish they would put a sequential manual gearbox on the vette. That would be  . Like the M3's have. I love driving cars with paddle shifting. I actually drove a Maserati Cambiocorsa, pretty sweet.

My son created this account and was using it for about 2 weeks until I found out. I didn't know he put his age in there. I got my profile changed to reflect my personal stats. Still same username though. By the way, how can I make my avatar a pic of my car? I'm not a computer wiz.

3.4 to 3.6 for the new Z??? Bout the same time the Enzo runs.... sure, why not!!!! Let's start talking now about the Blue Dev DREAM running 0-60 in 2.5 or something.... 60-0 in 45 feet.... lat G = 1.25... 0-100-0 7.5. Yep! It'll happen.
Cracks me up!

For some cool supercar comparisons check out caranddriver.com's Supercar Challenge. It's funny how the Twin Turbo Lingenfelter comes out on top. Above the Venom 800 Viper.

I took the following off of one of my slips when I was running with the stock F1 SC's.
1/8 ET 7.546
1/8 MPH 95.19
3 seconds
Not too shabby.
