C6 HUD Display question
Was wondering if the C6 HUD display is a module and if so do you think it could be placed in a C5 as an upgrade?? Unlike ONSTAR which has to be pre wired and cannot be added to a non pre wired C5...

What would be really interesting is if the HUD firmware in the C6 is upgradable through the DVD. Since the HUD is tied into the Nav.System and the Nav.System is DVD upgradable, I guess there is a small chance that the HUD firmware is upgradable too...
At least this would feel very comfortable for the ones that are buying a C6 the first year with bugs and all...

Thats a good point.....I think you may be right....I was just curious if it could be an upgrade for a C5, which is as you know already wired and if it was a module, then GM could just put in a new module...never thought it might be tied in with the nav system
