Birthday Bash Info - New ZO6 engine
None of the GM engineers would give much away, of course, but the here is what I picked up in "hints" from the engine guys:
427 ci
dry sump oil system
500 (or more) hp
WOW torque levels
big smiles from everyone.......
It should be lighter too, with big brakes.

I'll agree with all of that except the 427ci part.

Scissors, what are you speculating on the ci size?

There is no replacement for displacement. Hope the 427ci comes around to happening.

Re: Birthday Bash Info - New ZO6 engine (ALLEYNEC5)
I have said 427 2V all along. It just makes sense from the standpoint of reliability, Gen IV block design, simplicity, fuel economy, weight, size, and marketing for GM to pass up.
Thanks for the info.

6.4 liters which is approximately 390 ci.
