I Have Diffuculty Understanding This Skip Shift I Keep Hearing About, What Does It Acctually Do Because I See Many People Complaining In Other Sights About It. The Does It Apply For Autos Or Manuals Please I Need Some In Understanding This.

It only applies to manual transmissions. At speeds between 16 mph and 19 mph (approximately) and at less than 1/4 throttle, you are prevented from shifting to 2nd or 3rd gear. This system reduces fuel consumption on the EPA City cycle, and thereby allows GM to avoid the dreaded Gas Guzzler tax. This saves owners $1000. And the system is very easily defeated, once you take delivery of the car. Do a search under "CAGS" for more information.
