C6 battery placement (Heat issue)
Hi Guys,
Has anyone heard of a potential (Thermal/Heating) issue concerning the C6’s battery placement at the rear of the engine bay (passenger side). It would seem that with the current placement, the battery could be in a consistently “hot area” of the engine bay.
This could shorten the battery life, especially in hotter climates. If this turns out to be a real world issue the solution maybe adding a heat shield for the battery.
Any info or comments are welcome.
