Default C6 with NOS dyno sheet

Here is a before and after dyno graph of a C6 with a NX 150 HP jetting. The car is down on power until the NOS turns on. This is caused by our timing retard. The car also has Kook's 1 3/4" headers, high flow cats, 160 thermostat, and fan controller.

Not bad. I would think it would make hp though on the 150 shot.
Still great.

The C6 does not impress me at all. Why is there such a difference in peformance campared to the Z06????.......It is the weight?.....Does any one have an accurate info..
With 400hp, compared to the 405 hp , there should not be the huge difference in pefromance,,,,,????
rSo what is the problem with the new C6?

The difference is in the PCM/programming of the C6, it seems to have a few too many more safeguards built into it to protect it's parts from breaking under hard use...with some of these safeguards (ie: torque management) reduced/removed the cars could actually perform quite similar IMO.
It's been my finding that on average the C6s do still weigh more than the Z06s, but that could change once the low optioned 1SX package cars hit the streets...and of course the new Z06 should be MUCH lighter yet.

We are going to redyno this car latter this week. We expect to see a little more HP now that the car has had a chance to learn.
