Coolant Level Warning
I was driving home last night when for no apparent reason I got a coolant level warning on the Driver Information Center. I watched the temp noticed it was cycling from 201 to 219 and back down depending on the traffic( heavy at times).
I pulled over and checked it out as soon as I could the level appeared correct. Trying to reset the display when the warning appeared did not help, but after stopping when I restarted the car it was gone. I continued home and there were no further occurences.(100 miles)
I rechecked everything this morning and have not been able to duplicate the false warning.
Does anyone know if this sort of thing happens occasionally with a system like this. I will go back to my service department to check with them but ...
